My last day of work in Olympic National Park will be two Sundays from now. I just got home from Bainbridge Island where I dropped a few of my friends off on their ways back to Malaysia and Taiwan. Now, I’ve got about five people left whom I can call good friends.
This summer has been great. Despite all of the difficulties with work and people, I am undoubtedly glad I spent these past few months in the park. It’s not for everyone, but I think it’s certainly for most people.
I am now looking for jobs at home. Praxis doesn’t start until January, and I don’t leave home until July 2019, so I will have some time to work without other obligations. It will be nice to be able to work without having to make it to classes before or after as well. Maybe I’ll start knitting to fill the time.
See you all soon!
